In my research it appears that the Jeep has to go through several days worth of start/stop cycles in order for the battery management systems to relearn the current battery status. As others on the forum in other posts have mentioned, while you're having to deal with it may as well replace both batteries and be done with it.

Unsurprisingly, they couldn't replicate the issue. It doesn't happen every time the Jeep is on but it does happen at least 50% of the time. (Based upon the service I received, I
These starts are pretty simple. If you are on a slight forward decline then push in the clutch, release your e-brake and take your foot off the brake pedal. Once you start rolling and reach a speed between five and 10 miles-per-hour, let out the clutch. This should pop-start your engine. The Cherokee Transmission is out of whack. 2019 Cherokee drivers have also noticed a variety of transmission issues that plague their brand-new SUV models. While sitting still, the Jeep Cherokee is prone to lurching forward. Plus, the Cherokee seems to make a terrible grinding noise, like metal on metal, with concerning clunks and clanks. tpgze.
